Sharing a list of mental health tips that I have researched and learned in the past two years. I hope this helps some of you.
- Write a gratitude list. Writing down all the family members/friends/jobs that you are grateful for helps keep a lot in perspective.
- Practice meditation/prayer
- Take a walk outside. Around your block. In the park. Just go outside!
- Get adequate sleep. Turn off the TV. Get off your phone. Do not bring your laptop to bed with you.
- Read more books!
- Listen to fun podcasts
- Eat more green veggies.
- Breathe.
- Explore. Try something new once a month.
- Dance. Like nobody is watching. It doesn’t matter if you are good. Just enjoy!
- Dance with a person you like spending time with (a friend or someone you love).
- Find humor in things.
