Preparation for May blogs

Happy Saturday!

I hope you all are doing well. I hope the weather isn’t too bad where you are right now. I wanted to send out an important reminder message about May. I am currently working on some really important posts about mental health. May is Mental Health Awareness Month. If you don’t read any other of my posts this year, I really hope you read these. I will post every Friday and Sunday in May.

My goals moving forward is to help people heal and find out what brings them joy. I am back in college again taking courses. I am studying psychology so I can have some sort of “credentials” to back up all the talk I provide on my blogs and in my books. It’s been such a joy to be back in school. I am enjoying it in a way I didn’t when I was 18, 19, and 20.

I originally went to college to be a journalist. I really thought that was my plan. I studied journalism for almost four years. I was getting close to graduating and shy of 3 classes when I decided to change my major. I graduated with an English degree. My parents were not happy. No one understood what I was trying to do. Well, I never lost my love of sharing information. It took many more years for me to realize I don’t have to officially have a journalism degree to be an educator (sharer of information). I will never stop educating people. I will never stop informing people of what I know and encourage them to seek the truth as well.

I will continue to write. I will continue to market my current books and market my upcoming projects. I am most excited about the book I am writing right now. My hope is to have it published by early next year. I will create a post in the upcoming weeks to discuss that book.

I can go ahead and tell you some of the blog topics:

  • Codependency
  • Self-Care for Mental Health
  • Find Your Tribe (this is about creating the right kinds of friendships)
  • How Anxiety/Depression/Anger Overlap

I’m excited to share these posts with you all. Mental Health Awareness is the whole reason why I created this website. Join me for all the posts in the meantime but definitely come back here in May!

Until next time…same bat time…same bat channel.

The Batman TV series (1966-1968) with Adam West as Bruce Wayne/Batman and Burt Ward as Dick Grayson/Robin. I watched this all the time growing up (obviously the reruns…I wasn’t around in the 1960s).

Peace and Blessings!
