Enjoy Yourself – The Photo Edition

I wanted to conclude this month with some photos showing times where I had fun. Have you ever created a journal of the fun places you have visited? Where do you want to go next? Travel journals can be a cool way to document trips. I bought one and I can’t wait to fill it up with my travels and stories.

Note: In all of these photos (other than the Orlando Trip) I was with either family or friends. I don’t want anyone thinking I do stuff by myself all the time. Haha. There are many more pictures I could have posted but I don’t post pictures of people without their permission. Therefore, I only posted pictures I could use that didn’t have others in them in order to protect their privacy.

My first solo trip was to Orlando, Florida for my birthday a few years ago. I had always wanted to take a solo trip. I enjoyed myself so much. It was very interesting because I didn’t know anyone. I just decided to travel to Orlando on my own with no plans to meet up with anyone. I stayed the weekend, had sushi for the first time, danced around at the Cinco de Mayo block party across the street from my hotel (see pic below), visited some fun tourist spots, and talked to other visitors and locals. I would definitely travel solo again. I just need to figure out a good place to go.

My other favorite trip was visiting a friend who was living in Los Angeles at the time. She took me around to the beach and it was wonderful. I really enjoyed that short trip. I even got to see the Beachhouse from the original 90210 TV show. I took so many pictures but broke my phone a few months later. I was never able to recover those pictures. I have now learned the importance of backing up photos onto my computer.

Enjoy your times while you are here on this Earth. Make sure to take lots of pictures to capture the memories. I wish I had taken more photos in my 20s. I didn’t want to make the same mistake in my 30s. I take pictures almost all the time now. My memory may not be so good one day – so I want to have the photos to look at and smile.

Fun tip: Dance the night away somewhere. Watch the stars with someone.

Peace and blessings!

Until next time…same bat time…same bat station…
